Orientation Programmes - June 2019

“A Parent is a teacher at home and a teacher is a Parent in the school and the child is the centre of our universe”.

National Academy For Learning organized orientation programmes for all the grades spread over a week apart in the month of June. The aim was to familiarize the parents as ‘partners in progress’ with the curriculum, rules and regulations of the school, teaching methodologies and co-scholastic activities.

The session started with a welcome note by the Vice-Principal Ms. Hemalata Pillai who in her speech laid stress on the holistic development of the child which is the main aim and objective of the school. Furthermore, parents were briefed about the guidelines of the examination patterns and techniques of evaluation.

The teachers gave an overview of various subjects and the co-scholastic activities. It provided the parents with an assurance of the curriculum that involves hands-on learning, self-initiated projects and experimentation that would give vent to the creative talents and all-round development of their wards.

The orientation programmes ended on a good note and with an aim of nurturing our children into happy, skillful life-long learners and leaders directly in line with the school’s vision.
